Expressions of Color
Expressions of Color was photographed in the fall of 2021 in the North Fork area of Glacier National Park, Montana. As an artist, this holds a special place for me. I had given myself the challenge of photographing the bare branches of trees with other trees still in color behind them. This is a great example of the beauty that our autumns can provide for us in Northwest Montana. In addition to the aspen in color, the willow bushes are beginning to show their winter red in their branches, adding to the glorious Expressions of Color that we are priveledged to see in this area. This was photographed using a tele-photo lense that allowed me to capture what could be barely seen with my naked eye. Enjoy!
Open Edition Prints
Open Edition Prints
These prints are open edition and come in a clear plastic bag with a piece of foam core to add rigidity for transport and shipping. The images are printed on photo-quality luster paper and come with a place card on the back including the image title and the artist’s signature.
Framed Artwork
Framed images are printed on metallic paper. This paper gives the images a beautiful iridescent quality and adds warmth to the colors. The print is mounted on a black Gatorfoam® and finished with a luster laminate to protect the print. This product provides a water-resistant surface that is UV protected without the glare or reflection that glass can cause. The frames are a black brushed satin finish metal frame (see image photos for sample). Each finished piece is a signed, limited-edition collector print, which includes a Certificate of Authenticity, and arrives ready to hang on your wall bringing enjoyment for years to come.
Frameless Artwork
We now offer a frameless option in some sizes. These images are printed on metallic paper. This paper gives a beautiful iridescent quality and adds warmth to the colors. This option is mounted on a 6mm black Sintra board, laminated with a luster laminate finish that is UV protected without the glare or reflection that glass can cause. Each finished piece is a signed, limited-edition collector print, which includes a Certificate of Authenticity, and arrives ready to hang on your wall bringing enjoyment for years to come. For this Sintra hanging system, each frame is undersized by 2", and a wall-cleat is provided for easy hanging (see image photos for sample). This is an excellent solution for any installation, giving you a 1" floating appearance once hung.
